Wesley Kids 
Under Kanvas 

Kids Under Kanvas (KUK) provides 
young people (8-18 years) with a 
disability, the chance to participate in 
recreational and camping activites. 

How does it work? 

Young people with a disability attend a 
range of activites throughout the year 
including day activites, overnight camps 
and family camps. The camps and 
outings are held on weekends. 

KUK camps and activities are lead by 
trained volunteers with a leader to 
camper ratio of 1:2. 

How do I get involved? 

As a young person, you can be involved 
with activities such as: 

• Camping in cabins 
• Surf camps, snow trips, Sovereign Hill 
• Muesums, movies 
• Horse riding, zoos, farms 
• Swimming, mini golf, bowling 
Referrals are made via your service 
providers, case manager, hospital/health 
care workers, self referrals, or through 
your local council.
