Respite South Network

The Respite South Network is a collaborative network of Department of Human Services (DHS) funded service providers in the Bayside Peninsula and Outer South areas of the South Division who meet six times a year. The Network provides a forum for service providers who offer respite support to people with a disability and their carers. Services interested in respite outcomes are also welcome to join.

The Respite South Network offers opportunities to share information, work in partnership, explore respite service issues and to network with peers.

The Respite South website provides an online presence for this network, featuring funded respite options and respite news.

The Respite South Network also has several working groups which meet regularly.  These include the Respite for Older Carers Service Provider Network as well as the Disability Respite and Recreation Expo working group, which is involved in the planning of two expos each year.
