Just In Case is an exciting and inspiring arts program, jam packed, full of amazing creative activities to extend your skills and imagination.
Artists Artur Lyczba & Caitlin Dullard work with participants to explore art activities and to develop skills including: painting, drawing, puppet making, dancing, acting, mask making and much more.
The program caters specifically to young people with an intellectual, physical, sensory or acquired brain injury. No previous arts experience is necessary.
In 2006, the group created a shadow puppet performance piece including;
storytelling, painting, card making, character development, design, dance and voice techniques.
In 2007 the group will continue to explore and develop a range of performance and visual art techniques.
Just In Case takes place on the 2nd Saturday each month from 10am-4pm at:
Narre Warren Aged Care Complex
192 – 196 Centre Road Narre Warren (fully accessible venue).
Catchment Area:City of Casey, Shire of Cardinia, City of Greater Dandenong.Eligibility:Potential participant must live with a family member or voluntary carer.Age Range:16 - 30 years of ageCost:$66 membership per year.This annual fee offers you 11 days of respite over the course of the year.
