The Enhancing Vacation Care Program (EVCP) supports school holiday providers to become inclusive of children and teenagers with a disability. EVCP provides funding to employ additional support staff to cater for children and teenagers with a disability.
Participants will be required to pay for the daily cost of activities as determined by the school holiday provider.
There are participating school holiday programs located throughout the municipality. Children and teenagers can access school holiday programs up to 3 times per week, each week of the school holidays.
Children and teenagers must be booked into school holiday programs through the City of Casey's Leisure Respite Coordinator
at least 4 weeks prior to the commencement of the school holiday period.
To access the EVCP, individuals must be eligible in the following areas:
aged between 5 and 17 years with a mild to moderate disability; and
living or attending a school in the City of Casey
registered with Home and Community Care (HACC), only if aged between 5 and 12 yrs
