This Recreation Program provides sporting, cultural, social and recreational activities for deaf and hard of hearing children and young people. Participants are able to meet other deaf people, explore new experiences and challenges and build stronger networks with each other. Early Days is an Australian Government funded program that provides information workshops for parents and carers who have a child under six years of age with Autism or suspected Autism.

Early Days Workshops provide information about Autism Spectrum Disorders and about the early intervention services that may be available. Carers will develop skills and learn practical strategies to support their child's development.

Workshops are free, and each family is sent $100 to help subsidise the costs to them for the day. More details

Leisure Options is an accredited tour operator who specialise in small group holidays. Leisure Options offer a range of support ratios based on a person's level of support in the community. These are 1:5, 1:4, 1:2 and 1:1. This ratio pertains to the overall holiday.

Able Respite provides "time-out" for both the individual being supported and their carer. Their newest respite facility, Southern Intensive Respite Support (SIRS), is currently located in Bonbeach.

SIRS is a respite facility for people with a disability (there are 3 beds available at the house).
Weekend respite (from 3pm Fri - 10.30am Mon) is available for 12-18 year old people with Autism and/or behaviours of concern attending a school in Southern Region.
Midweek respite (from 3.30pm Mon - 10.30am Fri) is available for ISP / Funded individuals with a disability from any region. More information...
