Video Relay Interpreting Service

Source:
Commonwealth Respite and Carelink Centre Southern Region

The Video Relay Interpreting service provides sign (Auslan) and spoken language interpreting over the internet. The service makes it possible for deaf people to communicate in Auslan with hearing people in the same room in various situations such as a health professional, legal service or job interview via a remote Auslan interpreter.

The Video Relay Interpreting Service is funded by the Victorian Department of Human Services.
