The Department of Human Services has a concessions tool on their website which can help you figure out what concessions you are eligible for in Victoria.

Concessions are available to low income Victorians experiencing difficulty in paying their council rates, water, gas and electricity bills. For each concession and/or benefit, there is an eligibility criterion. Concessions programs are designed to ensure eligible cardholders have access to essential services.

Use the search engine on the Department of Human Services website to view a full list of concessions, benefits and assistance available to Victorians. Each page includes eligibility information, contacts and how to apply, where appropriate.

Don't forget to check out the Companion Card - it promotes the right of people with a disability, who require a companion, to fair ticketing at Victorian events and venues. Companion Card can now also be used on all Victorian public transport services. Cardholders can have their companions travel without charge, on all train and tram services, and all metropolitan bus services, country trains, coach and town bus services.

Visit http://www.companioncard.org.au for more information.

Finally, have a look at the Carer Card website. The Carer Card is a Victorian scheme which offers discounts and benefits to unpaid primary carers.
